| This song is about how the devil tries to make us feel condemned because of our sin. how he reminds us that we have no right to be with God in heaven. and its true... we dont deserve to be with God because of our sin... but thanks be to God for the saving grace of Jesus Christ who loves us anyway! The father of lies Coming to steal Kill and destroy All my hopes of being good enough I hear him saying cursed are the ones Who can’t abide He’s right Alleluia he’s right!
The devil is preaching The song of the redeemed That I am cursed and gone astray I cannot gain salvation Embracing accusation
Could the father of lies Be telling the truth Of God to me tonight? If the penalty of sin is death Then death is mine I hear him saying cursed are the ones Who can’t abide He’s right Alleluia he’s right!
Oh the devil’s singing over me An age old song That I am cursed and gone astray Singing the first verse so conveniently He’s forgotten the refrain Jesus saves!

| Don't leave me when I feel like it's impossible When I feel my inability bleed through Rip the veil between what I see and what is real Let this fire in my heart be proof -beth d gotta keep things in perspective. These kids need love, and I'm gonna love them. they will learn despite their home situtation or what people in their past told them that were and were not capable of. The truth is that they are alol children of the King and able to acheive excellence. Christ will be strong in my weakness. and i am oh so weak. but i am willing and ready. to serve. | | |
| Take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee. Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise. Take my hands, and let them move at the impulse of Thy love. Take my feet, and let them be swift and beautiful for Thee. Take my voice, and let me sing always, only, for my King. Take my lips, and let them be filled with messages from Thee. Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold. Take my intellect, and use every power as Thou shalt choose. Take my will, and make it Thine; it shall be no longer mine. Take my heart, it is Thine own; it shall be Thy royal throne. Take my love, my Lord, I pour at Thy feet its treasure store. Take myself, and I will be ever, only, all for Thee. | | |
| Recently i have been made aware of the junk thats going on in Uganda right now. Its horrible. Kids are being killed at record numbers. this is the longest war in Africa's history. CHILDREN ARE BEING TARGETED AND KILLED. so i find out about this and i tell some people i know... People say.. "aw.. thats horrible" and then go about their business. I AM SO PISSED. how can you just look at something like this and just go back to living your life? How can you not want to help these people in some way? its not even hard. 20 dollars or so can help. We in america are so selfish with our time and money. why do i have to beg people to give a crap about someone besides themselves. it makes me so frustrated. why dont we really love others? and if we claim we do, why arent we showing it? if you dont know how to help... start here or here or even here... but jeez... dont just sit there... people are dying and you can help and if you say you dont have the money...remember that you are better off than most of the world... so stop making excuses and DO SOMETHING | | |
| Can't Blame White People by Bill Cosby
They're standing on the corner and they can't speak English. I can't even talk the way these people talk: Why you ain't, Where you is, What he drive, Where he stay, Where he work, Who you be... And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk. And then I heard the father talk Everybody knows it's important to speak English... except these knuckleheads. Mushmouth is what they speak!? You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth. In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living. People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an education, and now we've got these knuckleheads throwing that all away.? The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal. These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids. $500 sneakers for what? And they won't spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics. I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing there in an orange suit. Where were you when he was 2? Where were you when he was 12? Where were you when he was 18? And, how come you didn't know that he had a pistol? And where is the father? Or who is his father? People putting their clothes on backward: Isn't that a sign of something gone wrong? People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn't that a sign of something? They're walking around with their nasty underwear showing, and holding onto their pants to keep them from falling to the ground!
Or are you waiting for Jesus to pull his pants up? Isn't it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up to her panty line, and got all types of needle piercings going through her body? What part of Africa did this come from? We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don't know a thing about Africa. With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap, and all of them are in jail. Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person's problem. We have got to take the neighborhood back. People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight different 'husbands' -- or men or whatever you call them now. We have millionaire football players who cannot read. We have million-dollar basketball players who can't write two paragraphs. We as black folks have to do a better job. Someone working at Wal-Mart with seven kids saying... you are hurting us. We have to start holding each other to a higher standard. We cannot blame the white people any longer. It is not for media or anyone of this time anymore to say whether I'm right or wrong. It is time, ladies and gentlemen, to look at the numbers. Fifty percent of our children are dropping out of high school. Sixty percent of the incarcerated males happen to be illiterate. There's a correlation. Tell the media to stop asking me what I think about people who don't believe what I'm saying or feel that I'm too harsh or feel that I'm just running my mouth because I'm old. Seventy percent of the teenagers pregnant happen to be African American girls. Don't ask me to soften my message.
